Ewan sat by the pond and was basically relaxing, even if it was a little cold he was fine with that as he sat there quietly in a slightly different outfit a sort of mix of Redwall Abbey and Long Patrol hare, he keep his dirk but it was safe elsewhere, where ever weapons were kept.

Xander slowly walked over and sat down with a sigh. He then speaks “Hey Private Ewan...how you doing this morning?”

Ewan nods “Me?..I am good..fair this morning, you seen...down, why?”

“Zolomon left, he is already heading to the mountain to deliver a message for the Long Patrol, he said a quick goodbye and had me promise to keep an eye on Tarsa till you guys head off...well the others head off”Xander  smiles a little “ Heard your staying here now right?”

Tassel quietly walks over to the pond, holding her infant daughter in her arms.

Anatole is beside her and clears his throat”  Excuse me..sir Xander...do you think you could escort me and my wife to the River Moss, we...we want to do a special ceremony for our child, you see its an..well otter thing to let your child shortly after birth feel running water along their back, its not always done right after birth but usually within the first few weeks of life, the horde prevented it done any sooner. I know Benar offered to take us but he is busy and this is more a....well...not a thing for a bunch of beasts to attend just me and Tassel, and a couple guests..witnesses.”

Ewan nods and then stands “Oh..hallo.”He looks at the dibbun and smiles a little “The dibbun is..very cute”

Xander walks over and smiles “Congrats...well I missed the birth of your child while I was away and sure..I can escort you to the river, me and Ewan both if he..wants to stay though  I do understand after everything has happen”

Anatole smiles “Thank you sir Xander and it is fine, she has yet no name but soon maybe”

Tassel rocks their daughter and keeps her warm”Should we head out then love?” She ask Anatole.

Ewan nods “I will come..,walks are nice now as before they were not..not nice..I can bring my dirk just in case.

Xander nods and will led the way after he gets The Blade of The Northwind Storms. They quietly travel to the river as he keeps a lookout and then once they are there he smiles “So..where?”

Anatole smiles and when they arrive he nods going a short distance” Here is fine.”

Tassel goes to stand beside him as she holds their small daughter and smiles, the little tiny otter cub coos softly and just seems happy as well.

Ewan watches “What about Zita, for a name it means hope...and it sounds nice.”

Xander stays by them quietly but doesn't say anything right now.

Anatole smiles “I like it...”He gently takes the small tiny otter and steps into the river till he is about waist deep and dips the small one so the water runs along her back, the baby otter giggles and coos as she smiles. Anatole then lifts her up and walks back to Tassel and smiles.

Tassel smiles also and chuckles “She is clearly gonna be a lover of water”

Ewan looks at the baby “Saki is good too..means hope and blossom like she is blossoming with happiness an joy.”

Anatole smiles “Saki Zita Riverstone...that's her name, her full name.”

Tassel smiles and  nods.

Xander smiles too “So..back to the abbey or..elsewhere?”

Ewan nods, a small smile. Well he will just wait with them as there is no way he is going off alone

Anatole smiles “Back to the abbey please, and Thank you for taking us here Xander, and it was a lot more..peaceful and calm with just me, my wife..you and your friend. I know I do not have an otter clan, but I do have a clan of friends and that's even more special”

Tassel smiles “Yes a clan of friends, Maybe that's what the abbey is, what the Mossflower Defenders are...A clan of friends”

Xander smiles “Clan of friends huh...sounds nice”

Ewan smiles “I like that..it sounds sort of...neat and special, everyone needs a clan of friends...”He looks around “So...home..”He stops and smiles “Yes home now? The abbey home?”

Anatole chuckles “I like this hare..yes We clan of friends head home to the abbey.”

Tassel smiles as she takes little Saki back and holds her close.”

Xander nods and goes to escort them home, to Redwall Abbey.

Ewan follows very close to them and looks around. A little nervous but  staying close to the badger he feels safer. He smiles a little as he is making friends,  a clan of friends, and it feels nice.
