News to Give Part2-Fate of Marek Log/LP LOG

Log:

Ximena looks at the marks and finds some cooling herb, "I am gonna put something on it and your gonna like it or else..I will...be upset and we cant have it get worse, that would be painful and awful"

Xander sighs but he sits "I had my armor and blocked most of his claws and teeth with my arm...."Which had armor on it
Zolomon says, "So...all is good"

Ximena says, "Well it seems ok and he should be fine I would ask why fight something like that but it would of killed that poor hare..I mean death will happen but we don't want any before we even get there"

Xander says, "No one died so it was a good day I think"

Zolomon says, "The monitor did...then again evil"

Ximena sighs and sits down, "So....we are resting...I sort of want to get home and sort of don't at the same time, what awaits us"

Xander says, "We will be home...like week and a half maybe Ximena....you can choose to stay in camp or...well go out , some will be in camp still""

Zolomon nods "Tarsa will be in camp, unless her leg is better enough but I rather her not fight with it"

Ximena nods "The hare maid with the clawed leg...It seems their healers are taking care of her, though someone could of called me..."

Sinway has been patrolling around the area for a better part of the day finally returning and seeing Xander. He looks exhausted as he makes his way back into camp walking towards Xander

Xander nods"Yeah..."He waves to Sinway he was told he was here, not fully why though"Sinway"He smiles "I am glad to see your ok, and it seems you need sleep"

Zolomon nods "I found Xandy....oh yeah never mind"He backs off and then remembered other news, hmmmms stay or go?

Ximena frowns, she looks at the otter "You should rest before you fall over, I am sure they would let you..I think..I would hope so"

Sinway shakes his head "I can't rest, not till I talk to you Xander." He points to a spot where they can all sit "We should sit down friends." He looks to both Ximena and Zolomon "where is Misu?" He asks before moving to sit down

Xander goes to sit down, he nods he can answer"She wanted to stay behind in Halyard...she found her mom and some fisher beast from her clan and guess she though all her clan dead. Misu is alive don't worry. She also has new armor"Xander has new armor in fact..better armor that also covers most of his arms and part of his legs, not his neck which is..bruised and some claw marks but he is ok.

Zolomon nods"Yep....she be fine..and thar is that one old otter said he could keep an eye on her as well...some really old chap, helped him from some ferrets"

Ximena lets them speak but she does sit down and sighs "We have heard of a siege...so when a eagle said bad beast were going to the abbey that sort of confirms a possible...but now a for sure siege, oh dear..."

Sinway frowns and nods "Well when the long patrol returns, one of them will need to deliver a message to her, she deserves to know." He takes a moment, the otter is both physically and emotionally exhausted "A lot has happen since ye left.....and it has all been bad, first Kirk was killed he went out with some defenders to patrol despite me ordering them not to.........Ferravale fell." He sighs and takes another moment "Xander, Zolomon......Karth is dead.......we believe that." He speaks a few choice words that one would normally only hear on the deck of a ship out at sea "We believe that cat killed him, after we took her in and healed her wounds brought her back from death!" He clenches his fist

Xander frowns as he listens, then he takes a deep breath "Well if we see her on the way back..I will let the Patrol know to slay her" He is calmish, but its clear he is angry about the cat as he shakes his head, "This is...not good news..I am sure..someone can get a message to her, as you said she should know. Thank you for the news...that feline or least some of her beasts may be around, there was a lizard with a black rose tattoo, its dead not to worry"

Zolomon says, "Bally lizard almost killed 2 hares, if it were not for Xander the LP be short 2 hares....so we get home..we be extra careful figure out the best plans and all so no one else is hurt..""

Ximena says, "Beasts are going to get hurt in the fighting, and I dislike fighting but I will be near it helping the injured"

Sinway frowns "If he would of just waited, but instead him and Blisa guard just had to go rushing off with out a real plan.....the slaves are free but somewhere out here with Blisa and her guard.....I don't think we will run into the cat though, unless we be lucky, seems Marek's brother turned on her and stabbed her in the back, literally........should of just left her to die." He takes another moment before looking over to Xander "Now this next part Xander.....ye got to promise me ye wont go do anything rash.........but two vermin got in.......that marten, and a rat......they attacked the abbot nearly killed him......I don't know the full detail, but Oz killed the marten......but he is in bad shape mate........before I left the abbey I was told he was in a deep faint and.....if it wasn't fer Kenya bein' kidnapped by the rat I would still be in the abbey."

Xander sighs "Karth was sometimes...."He frowns as he listens and studies Sinway "Benar was almost  killed..."He blinks "Uncle Oz...ok I am glad he protected the abbot but he could of.."Ok he is worried, maybe not as worried as he should be "And I know Kenya is safe...saw her sleeping and her foot paw bandaged."He stands and makes a fist...unfists and just takes a deep breath"The marten died...where is the rat and I bet Ormaz sent them..Ormaz wants Abbot Benar dead....Ormaz needs..he needs stopped"

Zolomon frowns as he listens "Benar is bad hurt or...Oz?"

Ximena frowns,"Not good news..how did these bad beasts get in? Did they use poor Kenya as a way to ge tout....we need to get home before there isn't a home to go back to"

Sinway sighs and it seems he didn't word this correctly "Xander, sit......" He looks over to Zolomon "No Benar is fine........." Waits for Xander to sit down again before saying "It's Oz.....he is the one who is in a deep faint"

Xander shakes his head "I don't want to sit..maybe we should start marching again, get there faster and..fine" He takes a few deep breaths and sits .He listens and states at the otter,"W..W..What?" He sort of stares as if in some sort of shock..."No....no no no...not..."

Zolomon ears droop "Ozzy.....is he alive still?" He knows how deep faints can work and sometimes its not good, he glaces at Xander.

Ximena gasps, she doesn't know Oz really, seen him maybe once but she knows he is dibbun caretaker "The dibbuns...what about them? Did that marten try and harm them too.....oh no"

Sinway shakes his head "He was alive, and the only dibbun effected was Kenya.....I don't know his current state......." He looks over to the healer's tent then back at the group "But I'm sure he will recover, Oz is a badger after all, I have seen badgers come back from deaths door before.....I'm sorry Xander I wish I had better news, I wish I could of done better, but with Karth dead and so few defenders, I have been doing night patrols, training volunteers on the way of a sling......sparing with the champion, tryin' to do me best at bein' Kenya's father.....I slipped up and now Oz is hurt and Karth is dead."

Xander tenses up, "Uncle Oz...is in a deep faint..coma? But he ..what if he is dead, he could be..d..dead...no" He stands only to about stumble backwards, "Tell me its not....true"Tears fall now, he has worried and now even more.."He..WAS...you mean maybe he's not..now.."He takes a couple deep breaths " He's..d...dea..dead or maybe dead, maybe not...dead or alive...I..need...walk...air...."He shivers, a couple sobs which isn't helping the fact he is likely still tried from killing a freaking monitor a few hours ago as he looks like he is going to pass out.

Zolomon frowns as he stands "Xandy....calm down..."Yep that's good advise.

Ciocan has been checking on some things and was in his tent and was coming out , he walked over to where the small crowd was and gently pushed away a couple hares and goes to make sure Xander doesn't fall backwards, in fact helping him to sit back down, or lay down if that's better. He glaces at the other, mainly Sinway as he doesn't know who the otter is as"What..happen?"

Ximena frowns and walks over slowly"Ohhhh...."She is quiet, she could reply and she is unsure as she wasn't asked "Is he ok? He's not ok is he....umm there was news, some bad new....and....oh dear"

Sinway looks at Xander "He was alive when I left, it does ye no good to think like that Xander, Oz is a strong badger I mean he takes care of all them dibbuns blind, I'm sure he will get better." He stands up walking over and kneeling beside Xander "Xander we need ye to keep focus I'm sure Oz is alive but if we don't stop that horde........if they get into the abbey" He looks up at the new badger who the otter can tell right away is clearly a badger lord standing up "I had to be the bringer of bad news from the abbey sir." He gives a respectful bow "My name be Sinway and I'm guessin' ye be the Badger Lord?"

Xander breaths in and out and shakes his head, he sniffs"Taking care of dibbuns is....different...than..."He looks up at Ciocan and sniffs, some tears down his face,he manages to wipe some away and focuses on Sinway as he speaks, he just sits..a little shakie and quiet.

Zolomon frowns as he watches his friend "Xandy...Xander tis be alright...."He then stands up straight when Ciocan is there "Your...Lordship..sur..."A salute to the badger. No nickname...wow that's different.

Ciocan nods as he only leaves to briefly help Xander to a place to rest and walks back over to them, he nods to Zolomon"At ease..."He looks at Sinway and speaks "Lord Ciocan, tis nice ta me you Sinway..always good to have friends with us"

Ximena starts to follow them and just sits down, the badger likely needs rest and...likely not brothered. She sighs "I do hope Xander will be ok, and I do hope there is no other bad news"

Sinway holds back a chuckle at Zolomon reaction to the Badger Lord but isn't all that surprised by it "The pleasure be mine sir......as I'm sure ye have been made aware the abbey be under siege, and I had to bring most unpleasant news." He looks about ready to drop from exhaustion but keeps him self standing "Been traveling fer a week with little sleep after I saved me adopted daughter from her kidnapper so the news I bring is days old and I'm not sure on the current state of Redwall."

Zolomon relaxes but stays where he is.

Ciocan frowns as he listens and nods "I am glad you two made it here...."He studies the otter and looks at Zolomon "Recruit...please make sure your friend gets to a tent to rest in and that he rests....we will be marching again come morning. Thar was a monitor that attacked a couple of my hares....which reminds me Zolomon once you help Sinway to a place to rest I need that update, all of it not just bits and pieces of it."

Zolomon nods "Yes sur...monitor was outside of camp...oh first"He nods to Sinway"He is right, you should rest before ya fall over"

Sinway yawns a little and nods "I'll sleep, but I couldn't till I gave Xander the update on what has happen......now that I did that I can sleep." he looks over to the healer's tent before looking back to Ciocan

Ciocan nods "I heard thar was a young otter in the healer's tent, your welcome to sleep and rest there Sinway."He glaces at Zolomon"My tent....10 mins....I want a full update on news from yesterday and today's."

Zolomon nods "Yes sur..got it"Yes he should of went to him sooner but hey there is added news now.

Sinway nods looking over at the tent "That is a good idea sir, Kenya is very scared and shaken up....she believes Oz got hurt because of her.......I'll need to stay by her side till she calms down."

Ciocan nods "Then be at her side. You and her are welcome to travel back towards the abbey with us, once we get to a final camp grounds we can discuss more on whom will be at camp and who will be in the battle field....excuse me"He then heads to his tent.

Zolomon quietly watches and sighs a little "Not de best past couple days chap"He says to Sinway "The monitor almost barely well killed a couple hares...ranking office types ...I thought it killed Xandy but it didn't...Xandy made the monitor headless and it had him by the throat."

Sinway nods calling to the badger lord "I'll be joinin' ye in battle....I got to protect me home one last time before I re join the abbey order and put me blade up fer good." He then looks to Zolomon "Bad times all around then." He goes to turn to the healer's tent he doesn't need a escort but he allows Zolomon to do it anyways after all he was ordered to by the badger lord

Zolomon does escort him to the healers tent and then, off to update the Badger Lord on news.

Sinway finds Kenya and lays down beside her draping his tail over both him and her before quickly falling asleep

Zolomon meanwhile enters Lord Ciocan's tent, updating the badger Lord on the events Sinway mentioned, and then about the monitor attack and how the monitor is headless, who was hurt and who wasn't. He then waits till he is dismissed and salutes and heads off to get rest himself.
